This marks the end of an era for Festival favourites The Edinburgh Quartet: After 40 years as their viola player, Michael Beeston has decided to retire this summer. This concert will feature some of Michael's favourite repertoire, including Smetana's romantic String Quartet no. 1 "From my Life."
